Aluminium rebate perimeter seal AIB 4N is a draught profile to prevent draughts at windows and doors. The plastic seal (TPE) has a low closing resistance for optimum ease of use.

The draught profile can be used for inward and outward opening windows and doors.

Draft can easily be stopped by correctly installing the rebate perimeter seal. Read the supplied installation instructions, watch the video and follow the step-by-step plan.

Prepare the necessary materials in advance:

  • Tape measure or folding rule
  • Pencil
  • Hacksaw and file
  • Drill with Phillips bit

 

Step-by-step guide: installing rebate perimeter seal AIB 4N

  1. Measure the width of the top of the frame
  2. Cut the profile to size. Note: average the hole pattern for optimal attachment
  3. Draw the correct length on the profile
  4. Cut the profile to size
  5. File off any sharp edges of the aluminium that may have formed
  6. Place the rebate perimeter seal
  7. Measure the closing side of the door, shorten the profile to the correct size and place the rebate perimeter seal from top to bottom
  8. Finally, measure the hinge side of the door, shorten the profile to the correct size and place the rebate perimeter seal from top to bottom
