Step-by-step guide: installing perimeter seal ASP

  1. Measure the width of the top of the frame to determine the length of the perimeter seal.
  2. Mark the correct length on the holder profile.
  3. Saw the holder profile to size.
  4. File off any edges of the aluminium that may have formed.
  5. Close the door. Place the profile in the jamb of the frame and screw it in place, with the seal connecting with the door along the entire width.
  6. Mark the correct length on the cover cap.
  7. Saw the cover cap to size.
  8. File off any edges of the aluminium that may have formed.
  9. Place the cover cap over the holder profile. Carefully tap the cover cap into place with a plastic hammer to avoid damaging the profile.
  10. Repeat the above steps for the hinge side and then also for the closing side.
