Aluminum wear strip with TPE seal against draft. Perfectly compatible with Ellen perimeter seals.

The wear strip ARP 5 - R5 protects the threshold under back doors, patio doors, and balcony doors from wear and tear. Additionally, the profile features an anti-slip design, reducing the risk of slipping on a smooth threshold indoors.

  • Hacksaw and file
  • Drill with a Phillips bit

Step-by-step guide: Installing wear strip ARP 5 - R5

  1. Measure the length of the threshold to determine the required length of the wear strip.
  2. Mark the correct length on the wear strip.
  3. Cut the wear strip to size.
  4. File off any burrs that may have formed on the aluminum.
  5. Place the wear strip on the threshold, ensuring the seal is positioned against the door.
  6. Secure the wear strip with screws.
