DRAUGHT PROOFING DOORS
The drop seal ensures an automatic sealing of the gap under a door. This prevents draughts in your home.
An additional advantage of the EllenMatic Extra drop seal is that noise from surrounding areas is also reduced. The Extra can be mounted both at the bottom and on the door.

Installation advice
Draft and noise in the house can easily be stopped by correctly installing the drop threshold. Read the supplied installation instructions, watch the video and follow the step-by-step plan.
Prepare the necessary materials in advance:
- Tape measure or folding rule
- Pencil
- Hacksaw
- File
- Drill with Phillips bit
- Screwdriver

Step-by-step guide for installing the EllenMatic Extra - in the door
- Measure the groove size in the door and the width of the door to determine the length of the drop seal.
- Mark the correct length on the drop seal.
Note: shorten on the non-pressure button side! - Saw the drop seal to size.
- File off any burrs that may have formed from the aluminium.
- Trim off the excess seal.
- Slide the drop seal into the door and secure it with the mounting plates.
- Place the stop plate in the frame to prevent damage to the frame from the activation button.
- Adjust the drop seal until the desired sealing is achieved by turning the activation button in or out. Test the seal using a piece of paper > the paper must be secure but must not tear
Step-by-step guide for Installing the EllenMatic Extra - on the door leaf
- Measure the width between the door frames to determine the length of the drop seal
- Mark the correct length on the drop seal
Note: Cut off on the non-pressure button side! - Saw the drop seal to size
- File off any burrs that may have formed from the aluminium
Close the door. Screw the drop seal onto the door.
Cut off the excess seal.
Place the lug on the hinge side of the door frame.
Place the cap on the pressure button of the drop seal.
Adjust the drop seal until the desired seal is achieved by turning the pressure button.
Test the seal using a piece of paper > the paper must be secure but must not tear
