For a good seal between the frame and the window, the AV 15-10 stop profile is a good solution. This way, you don't give water/draft a chance to get in. And if moisture does get into the profile, it can easily drain away at the bottom.
The aluminium stop profile is anodised. This makes the aluminium wear-resistant and gives the profile a long lifespan without rusting.
