Door bottom seal PDS Basic

Hard plastic door bottom seal to be mounted on the bottom of the door. Suitable for inward opening doors and interior doors with a dust threshold.

The hard plastic profile is fitted with a flexible TPE seal that perfectly closes the gap between the door and the treshold.

Prepare the necessary materials in advance:

  • Tape measure or folding ruler
  • Pencil
  • Hacksaw and file
  • Drill with a Phillips bit

 

Step-by-step guide: installing door bottoms eal PDS Basic

  1. Measure the width of the door to determine the length of the door bottom seal
  2. Mark the correct length on the door bottom seal. Note: average the hole pattern for optimal fixation
  3. Cut the door bottom seal to size
  4. File off any burrs that may have formed on the profile
  5. Place the door bottom seal on the bottom of the door, with the plastic seal against the threshold
  6. Screw the door bottom seal in place
