Installation advice
Draft through gaps and seams around uPVC windows and doors can easily be stopped by correctly installing the peripheral frame seal. Read the supplied installation instructions, watch the installation instruction video and follow the step-by-step plan.
Prepare the necessary materials in advance:
- Tape measure
- Pen
- Frame cutting pliers or frame cutting aid
- Chisel
Step-by-step guide: installing Universeal+ peripheral frame seal
- First remove the old seal from the frame.
- Measure the old seal and cut the Universeal+ slightly longer.
- Configure the Universeal+ by peeling off the different layers until the configuration of the Universeal+ matches the old peripheral frame seal
- Place the Universeal+ in the frame. Start at the top of the frame in the middle
Work clockwise. Mark a line in the top right corner of the seal - Cut the Universeal+ at the location of the line, use frame cutting pliers or a frame cutting aid for this.
