The ALD A125 rain deflector can be used as a top sill for inward and outward opening doors and windows. The profile can also be used at the bottom of the frame. This ensures a good transition from the wall (the brickwork) to the frame.

For the rain deflector to function properly, the correct processing of the profile is essential. You can download the processing instructions for this and follow the step-by-step plan.
Prepare the necessary materials in advance:
- Tape measure or folding rule
- Pencil
- Hacksaw and file
Step-by-step guide: installing rain deflector ALD A125
- Measure the width of the frame or door
- Mark the correct length on the rain deflector
- Cut the rain deflector to size
- File off any sharp edges of the aluminum
- Place the rain deflector above/below the frame or on the door
