Installation advice
Draught, noise, smoke and fire can easily be stopped by correctly mounting the cassette with drop seal. Read the supplied mounting instructions, watch the video and follow the step-by-step plan.
Prepare the necessary materials in advance:
- Cloth and degreaser
- Tape measure or folding rule
- Square
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Hacksaw and file
- Drill with Phillips bit
Step-by-step guide: installing EllenMatic Slim Elegance Protection plate
- Measure the width of the door where the protective plate will be placed
- Mark the correct length on the protective plate
- Cut the protective plate to size
- File off any burrs that may have formed on the aluminium
- Clean and degrease the door thoroughly with the cloth and degreaser
- Remove the protective layer from the self-adhesive tape on the protective plate
- Attach the cassette to the door and press firmly
