Aluminium holder profile for the EllenMatic Slim Soundproof. Ideal as a holder cassette for drop seals in a surface-mounted situation, such as for wooden doors or on glass doors. The holder profile is mounted on the underside of the door.
Surface-mounted cassette is only suitable for the EllenMatic Slim Soundproof.
Combine the surface-mounted cassette with the EllenMatic Slim Protection Plate to protect the underside of the door from damage or to prevent people from looking in from the back of the drop seal on glass doors.

- Available in anodised (VOM1), brushed black (VOM7) and brushed stainless steel
- Note: The EllenMatic Elegance Cassette must be 6 mm shorter than the exact length between the door frame (1 mm clearance is required on both sides, and there must be room for the end caps).

Customization
The Slim Elegance Cassette is custom-made. When ordering, please specify the exact size, the colour and whether the cassette should be drilled or taped.
If you want to order a custom-made Slim Soundproof, we will determine the size. Then just specify on which side the push button should be located.
Installation advice
Draught, noise, smoke and fire can easily be stopped by correctly mounting the cassette with drop seal. Read the supplied mounting instructions, watch the video and follow the step-by-step plan.
Prepare the necessary materials in advance:
- Cloth and degreaser
- Tape measure or folding rule
- Square
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Hacksaw and file
- Drill with Phillips bit
Step-by-step guide: installing the holder profile EllenMatic Slim Elegance Cassette
- Measure the width of the door on the side where the cassette is placed (exact length between the door frame)
Note: then subtract 6 mm from this (this is necessary to place the end caps) - Mark the correct length on the cassette
- Cut the cassette to size
- File off any burrs that may have formed on the aluminium
- Clean and degrease the door thoroughly with the cloth and degreaser
- Remove the protective layer from the self-adhesive tape on the cassette
- Attach the cassette to the door. Leave 3 mm free on both sides and press firmly!
- Take the drop seal (Soundproof, Uni-proof, Brush, Optimal seal) and mark the correct size. Note: the drop seal must be 1 mm shorter than the cassette
- Cut the drop seal to size and file off the burrs from the aluminium
Slide the drop seal into the cassette and screw the cover caps on
